We started the day spotting an elk.
And on to the typical Yellowstone view...
The spring hole dumps into the river. Amazing to see how the hot water gets mixed with the cold, river water.

Hot springs, the river and the animals. So beautiful...
This is what this hole looks like...
See the little bubbles coming up? And that yellow crust on top, that's a thin crust of bacteria and fungus.
Can you see the hole were the water is coming from? Deep, down there.
There are spring holes in the river. Look for them.
Ahhhhh the awe of Yellowstone...
