 Our day started in Auburn, CA. A cute little town with old style buildings and some more modern art.

We stopped at a record store where K had some special time,

and then off to Reno, NV.

where we had some yummy sandwiches and hit a Sierra Trading Post.

We are now headed to https://maps.app.goo.gl/8ncr8V5eNVuTmAnB7 (click on it, it’s the middle of the dessert), where 8 years ago we wrote on the sand with rocks and are now going to reproduce it.

Apparently we are not the only ones who do this!

So we started writing our name again with rocks from the crispy desert sand, while J is playing hard to get and literally playing on his phone. We are working hard in the desert, at 35C when he suddenly starts walking away from us and says he knows exactly the place we wrote on 8 years ago (thank you geo-tagging!). We were convinced that he was fooling around. Guess what, IT WAS THERE!!!! Unbelievable! The 2017 piece of art!

We couldn’t believe our eyes. So we decided to add to the old art, the dates 2017 - 2025. Who knows, maybe in eight years it’ll still there?
